The Old Vicarage is a beautifully refurbished 23-bedroom property, set alongside the River Dane with picturesque views across the Cheshire countryside. Dating back to the 1600s, this Grade II listed former vicarage seamlessly combines historic character with contemporary interiors.
Located in the heart of Holmes Chapel, the riverside setting provides a peaceful and scenic environment for guests. Original features, including exposed wooden beams & twin fireplaces, complement the modern design while retaining the building’s unique charm.
Situated just moments from the village church, the property has a rich connection to the local community & its history. It was once home to the clergy of Holmes Chapel, who would make the short journey to the church for services & ceremonies.

Our private dining room seats small groups around a single table, with its own menu and a team looking after you for the evening. Throughout the year we also host supper clubs, chef’s tables and seasonal dinners that are open to everyone.

Christmas at The Old Vicarage
Christmas Party Nights every Friday & Saturday from 4th December, with festive food, drinks and a DJ until midnight. Large parties welcome by enquiry.
Weddings at The Vicarage
A 17th-century Grade II listed venue in the Cheshire countryside, with exclusive use of the house and a dedicated events team to look after your day.
Ceremonies for up to 60, evenings for up to 200, and 23 bedrooms for you and your guests.
